About Our Coaches

At Precision Dance Studio, we carefully select the best coaches who bring exceptional experience and a deep passion for dance. Our coaches have not only trained and competed at the highest levels but are also dedicated mentors who inspire and guide dancers in both their technical growth and personal development. By combining skill, experience, and mentorship, our team ensures every dancer reaches their full potential, both on and off the stage.

Sakiya Walker

Sakiya Walker has been passionate about dance since the age of seven, cultivating a diverse repertoire including ballet, modern, jazz, West African, and hip hop. Over her 19 years of dancing, Sakiya has honed her skills through rigorous training at Duke Ellington School of the Arts (DESA) and George Washington University (GWU) located in her native city, Washington DC. She has performed at many prestigious events, including the International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD).

 

A dedicated artist and leader, Sakiya has also directed and choreographed multiple productions at GWU, showcasing her talent and commitment to the art of dance. She is dedicated to nurturing each student's love for dance and providing a safe space for students of all levels to thrive by building strong technical dance skills.

Grace Snyder

Grace Snyder grew up in the world of pre-professional ballet, a background that instilled in her a lifelong discipline and love for the arts. A current Dance Major at Goucher College, Grace is a versatile performer and instructor with a mastery of Ballet, Jazz, and Tap.

 

Grace began teaching five years ago and quickly realized that her true calling lies in choreography and nurturing the next generation of talent. She is incredibly excited to get into the studio and have an amazing season with all of your children!

Saniya Wade

Saniya Wade has been living and breathing dance since she was three years old. With 15+ years of hip-hop training under her belt, she’s competed with elite crews like Culture Shock DC and Bfunk and recently hit the road for her first professional tour with Bri3.

​

Beyond the stage, Saniya is a gifted choreographer, notably for Towson’s Vibe Dance Team, and a passionate mentor. Her mission is simple: to nurture the next generation of dancers and help them turn their raw talent into artistry.

Rochelle Lambert

Rochelle Lambert’s journey in movement began at the age of four with The Dynamics of Maryland, a premier competitive baton twirling team. Over a standout 14-year competitive career, Rochelle achieved mastery at the state, national, and international levels.

Her transition from athlete to educator began as a coach for her home team, where she discovered a lifelong passion for teaching and choreography. Rochelle has since expanded her expertise into the dance world, choreographing for both her high school and collegiate dance teams. While she is well-versed in a variety of disciplines, she specializes in high-energy hip-hop and is dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels find their rhythm.
